Located in Southern Corsica, Figari is a French municipality, 15 kilometres away from Bonifacio, on the way to Ajaccio. An administrative centre of about 1000 inhabitants, sunny Figari is renowned for being one of France’s most beautiful tourist resorts. Its reputation is mainly due to Corsica, an island acclaimed for the natural beauty of its coats and the splendid Mediterranean Sea as well as its imposing Corsican massifs, which have been attracting more and more tourists.
Figari’s most characteristic feature is its bay: a magnificent gulf where a beach of fine sand meets the turquoise waters of the sea. This spectacular place is a peaceful oasis for holidaymakers just wishing to go for a swim. However, tourists and locals alike may indulge in all sorts of activities such as surfing and kite boarding.
