EMBRAER 190

Number of aircrafts:3
 EMBRAER 190

The comfort of an Airbus without the middle seat

Even if it may look similar from the outside to other twin-engine jets, the Embraer 190 is different from all other aircraft in service today.

The Embraer 190 belongs to the E-jet family of airplanes that are revolutionizing regional air transportation with their superior comfort, performance and range.

This new, 100-seat jet has seating and aisle widths equal to or greater than those of an A320 but with only 4 seats abreast per row. With 2 seats on each side of the aisle there are no undesirable “middle” seats, a strong boost to passenger convenience.

The cabin has a spacious, two-metre ceiling height and the “double-bubble” fuselage design results in almost vertical side walls. The large windows provide abundant natural light for passengers’ enjoyment.

The interior configuration and large stowage volume allow for easy embarking and improved traffic fluidity as well as rapid on-board service.

Embraer’s E-jets meet with success

The Embraer 190 is particularly suitable for Baboo destinations where 50- to 70-seat regional jets are too small and Boeing or Airbus aircraft are too large.

Baboo has chosen moreover the Steep Approach option, allowing the use of airports equipped only with short runways.

The E190 is one of the most popular aircraft with passengers, flight attendants and pilots, as well as maintenance crews.

The E-jet family includes the E170 (70 seats), the E175 (80 seats), the E-190 (100 seats) and the E-195 (110 seats). This new series has enjoyed worldwide success. The first E-jet was delivered in 2004 and more than 500 are flying today out of nearly 900 firm orders to date.

DASH 8-Q400

  Number of aircrafts:2
DASH-8 Q400

The most technologically advanced turboprop in the world

The Dash 8-Q400 is a very modern turboprop airliner. It is the fastest and most comfortable airplane in its category.

Featuring a revolutionary noise and vibration suppression system, it is the quietest airliner on the market for both cabin and exterior noise.

With a rating of 5,071 shp (shaft horsepower) each, the Q400’s two PW150A engines provide the speed of a jet with the advantages of turboprops: low fuel consumption, reduced emissions, unbeatable maintenance costs, and excellent reliability.

Turboprop aircraft burn in fact from 25 to 40% less fuel than similarly sized regional jets while simultaneously producing up to 50% less CO2. This is a matter of primordial importance considering the constant increase in energy costs and the growing concerns about the impact of aviation upon the environment.

The Dash 8-Q400 is moreover the only turboprop of more than 70 seats to provide a similar level of performance and comfort while also being able to use short, hard-to-approach runways like that of St-Tropez.
