¿How to use FedEx tracking?

To track your shipments you only need a tracking code, or tracking number. You can be a wholesaler, a merchant, a buyer, or simply an individual who wants to send documents or packages to another person, whatever your position, you can track packages with FedEx tracking services.

There are different tracking options to track your shipments, below you can see each of them;

Tracking Number

If you have a FedEx tracking number or FedEx tracking code, you can check the status of up to 30 packages or shipments in shipping services; FedEx Express, FedEx Express Freight®, FedEx Home Delivery®, FedEx Ground, FedEx SmartPost®, FedEx Custom Critical, or FedEx Freight.

Track by Reference

You can track your shipments without a tracking number, using a reference assigned by the sender. You can track by reference with or without an account number.

If you have an account number, you can track up to 30 referrals with your associated account number and all shipments associated with that account number and referrals will be displayed.

If you don’t have an account number, you can track up to 30 references by entering the shipping date, destination country, and zip code.

Track by TCN

The TCN is a 17-character data element assigned to control and manage each shipping unit along the transportation line and payment processing. Each shipment’s TCN is unique and MUST NOT be duplicated.

You can track your government orders by entering the transportation control number (TCN). Enter your code without spaces and without the letters «TCN».

Obtain Proof of Delivery

With your tracking code or tracking number, you can obtain proof of delivery (including an image with the recipient’s signature) for all shipments made with FedEx Express®, FedEx Ground® and FedEx Freight®. You can also get a copy of your bill of lading from FedEx Freight.
